AI Try-A-Thon Was a Success

On Friday, April 5th, 2024, DU held its first-ever AI Try-A-Thon at the Burwell Center for Career Achievement. With 10 vendors and 20 AI experiences, over 150 participants had a diverse array of AI tools and demonstrations for the purposes of exploration and learning, and to enhance teaching, learning, research, and work at DU. In addition, this innovative event featured an interactive keynote address by Dr. Stephen Hutt, Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science and a closing session with Provost Mary Clark, Professor Steven Hutt, and Microsoft Corporative Vice-President Lili Cheng.
