The proposed amendments to the APT, in response to COVID-19, were approved by the Board of Trustees at their April meeting and are now in effect allowing certain faculty to request a one-year extension to their tenure clock or employment contract. Please note the Senate is voting on some amendments to this amendment to extend the timeline beyond Sept. 1 as well as some other language about the process for going up at “normal” time after taking an extension.
