Building on two years of collaboration among representatives from the Office of Teaching & Learning, Student Affairs and Inclusive Excellence, the Provost’s office, IT, and EOTIX/ADA, this work was formalized through a campus-wide Accessibility Council. Launched on January 1st, 2024, Provost Mary Clark, Todd Adams, Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs, and Eric Hartman, Executive Director of Enterprise Risk Management, convened a multidisciplinary group of students, faculty, and staff from key departments across campus.
The Council’s charge is to champion awareness campaigns, facilitate cross-departmental collaboration, and advocate for diverse accessibility needs toward a campus culture that values and supports every community member.
