On Wednesday, July 29, the Chair Advisory Board, in collaboration with Darrin Hicks, Past Senate President, Sarah Pessin, Faculty Senate President, and Kate Willink, VPFA, hosted a Chairs and Directors Huddle about “Deliberative Decision Making Best Practices for Negotiating Class Assignments During COVID and Beyond.” We discussed best practices for process quality and authenticity in decision making and strategies for running meetings to increase participation and equity for all participants.
