For 30 years, Professor Paul Michalec has explored the scholarship and practice of teaching and learning in higher education that is transcendence, healing, and holistic.  Paul shares his wonderings, wanderings, and emergence into the identity of teacher/scholar in the tradition of a holistic/prophetic educator. Themes Professor Michalec explored include personal and professional transformation through teaching, classrooms as sacred space, the spiritual elements of effective instruction, art as pedagogy, courageous teaching and learning, and the scholarship of holistic education.
