Faculty Data Governance
The Data Governance model is borrowed from the healthcare industry to help with transparency and constituent agency. The idea here is that any survey that is done internally or externally that gathers data that affects constituents should allow for their voice in the process. There are three major components to the process are data communication, data analysis, and data governance.
Data Governance @ DU
Since the Summer of 2019, the Data Governance Committee has collaborated with the VPFA and other stakeholders to engage in activities to forward the work on faculty data cleanliness, processes, and governance to advance DU university-wide initiatives. This collaboration fosters faculty agency in governing the goals, methodology, dissemination of data, and communications as it affects decision-making processes related to faculty throughout the university.
