This year marks the 20th anniversary of DU’s Diversity Summit. In addition to providing the opportunity to celebrate the work over the last 20 years, COVID restrictions and the multiple national engagements toward racial justice is giving ODEI and the Diversity Summit Steering Committee the opportunity to re-imagine the summit. This week, we are beginning the third week of a seven-week program. Each week includes a series of conversations/discussions/lectures for members of the DU community and beyond. Our schedule is themed into three areas of engagement:
Weeks 1 and 2: DU Context: Grounding our collective thinking about DEI in DU’s history and current realities and practice
Weeks 3-5: DEI knowledge and capacity building
Weeks 6 and 7: DEI praxis
