In our last newsletter, we reviewed some of the effects that COVID-19 is having on teaching, research, and service, for all faculty, including caregivers. As conversations continue about what this should mean for APT, we offer a set of curated resources for individual caregivers. You’ll find some links for finding and evaluating childcare, supporting students during at-home learning, seeking leave or work modification, providing for adult and elder care, and caring for yourself.
We’re also working on launching a drop-in virtual “coffee session” for caregivers, co-hosted by Alison Staudinger, Director of Faculty Development and Career Advancement, and a faculty member. If you are interested co-leading this group, please email Alison.Staudinger@du.edu
