Accessibility Council Meeting and Ambassador Welcome

On April 15 the Accessibility Steering Committee hosted this quarter’s Accessibility Council Meeting. The meeting featured a panel of accessibility support and resources on campus including those from the Office of Teaching and Learning, Information and Technology, the Learning Effectiveness Program, ADA Coordinator, and Student Disability Services.

The meeting also marked the kick-off of the Faculty Accessibility Ambassador Program. Faculty ambassadors will serve as a bridge between central resources and local units and will design and work on projects aimed at supporting the specific accessibility needs of their local context over the 2025-2026 academic year.

Faculty ambassadors include: Iffat Anjum (Ritchie School of Engineering & Computer Science), Bud Bilanich (Daniels College of Business), Meghan Connolly (University Libraries), Ellie Dannenberg (Natural Sciences and Mathematics), Jennifer Greenfield (Graduate School of Social Work), Sabine Lange (Natural Sciences and Mathematics), Kevin Lynch (Sturm College of Law), Sara Magnatta (College of Arts Humanities and Social Sciences), Calley Marotta (University Academic Programs), Julie Morris (Natural Sciences and Mathematics), and Chinn Wang (College of Arts, Humanities & Social Sciences).
