As you prepare to start the fall term, you may be thinking about how to integrate Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools into your courses. You may also be considering how to encourage your students to use AI carefully and thoughtfully.
The OTL is here to support you! Visit our updated AI in the Classroom webpage for resources and information about utilizing AI tools effectively, communicating with your students, and learning how others across campus are using AI. We are also offering several workshops throughout the year in our Teaching with AI workshop series where we will discuss topics related to using AI as a teaching and learning tool.
We are launching a Community of Practice (CoP), Exploring AI as a Learning Tool, starting in late September. This CoP provides a space for faculty to discuss literature, engage in discussions related to AI adoption and its potential as a learning resource, and address key issues such as ethics, equity, and technological concerns. For more information and to sign up, please visit our Qualtrics link.
Need individual support? Visit our OTL Staff Page to learn more about the expertise across our office and schedule a consultation with us, or reach out to us at otl@du.edu.
Are you using AI in an innovative way? We would love to highlight your work! Contact the OTL at otl@du.edu to be showcased on our AI Faculty Features webpage.
