The next steps in our efforts toward Advancing Equity In Faculty Workloads and Rewards include formation of department- or program-based teams to examine and refine teaching evaluation practices in their areas. Three programs have been selected to form the inaugural cohort, which will formally kickoff in April 2022 with an event, Advancing equity in faculty workload and rewards: A Celebration and Launch of Departmental Initiatives. Selected teams are:
University Writing Program, led by Executive Director and Associate Professor Sheila Carter-Tod
University Academic Programs
First Year Language Program, Center for World Languages and Cultures, led by Teaching Assistant Professor Emily Sposeto
College of Arts, Humanities, and Social Sciences
Teaching and Learning Sciences, led by Clinical Professor Norma Hafenstein
Morgridge College of Education
Departments and programs interested in joining future cohorts are encouraged to attend public-facing workshops and events associated with teaching excellence and DATs. What is a DAT? Learn more at DATs at DU.
