The new Faculty Lounge will open on Tuesday, January 19th on the second floor in the northeast corner of the Community Commons building, overlooking the Driscoll Green — just off the new dining area. There is a fireplace in the room as well as a microwave. Food and non-alcoholic beverages will be allowed. Open from 7:00am to 10:00pm, faculty can access this new lounge using their active DU ID Card. The door is protected by C-Cure, allowing only faculty to enter. Please note during COVID-times that seating will be limited.
Additionally, the roof-top bar and outdoor gathering area is NOW open Monday – Friday from 4:00pm – 10:00pm. Cheers to finally and joyously having a faculty lounge — a long-time dream of many DU faculty!!!
