Workload Equity: Three Departments Chosen to Form the Inaugural Department Equity Action Planning (DEAP) Cohort

The next steps in our efforts toward Advancing Equity in Faculty Workloads and Rewards include formation of department- or program-based teams to pursue greater workload equity in their departments/programs. Three departments comprise the inaugural cohort, which will formally launch with an event in April 2022:

 

Department of Higher Education, led by Chair and Professor D-L Stewart

Morgridge College of Education

Department of Languages, Literatures, & Cultures, led by Chair and Associate Professor Rachel Walsh

College of Arts, Humanities, and Social Sciences

Department of Spanish Language, Literary, and Cultural Studies, led by Chair and Associate Professor Salvador Mercado

College of Arts, Humanities, and Social Sciences

 

Departments or programs interested in joining future cohorts are encouraged to attend public-facing workshops and events associated with workload equity and DEAPs.
