Writing Support for Faculty

Dec 9, 2021

You are invited to jump on Zoom on Mondays and Wednesdays this December from 10:00am–12:00pm, to join a dedicated core of faculty who are writing “together” and maintaining momentum on their projects.

DU faculty in every series face common barriers to writing what we want, when we want—including competing research commitments, caregiving burdens, and demanding service loads. The good news: the Writing Accountability program enables faculty to cultivate sustainable writing habits and meaningful, achievable goals without sacrificing teaching, relationships to colleagues, or self care. Faculty may enroll in one or both of two options:

  1. A structured, curriculum-supported track (WAG) with a small, quarter-long cohort, or
  2. A write-in-place track (WiP), where faculty can drop in and write alongside colleagues from across campus (either in person or via Zoom).

Although the official deadline for the Winter Quarter WAG has passed, you can email Libby Catchings at elizabeth.catchings@du.edu to see if there is room!
