Faculty concerns during and emerging from the pandemic have focused on time lost for scholarly/creative pursuits, teaching, and well-being; many faculty have sustained long and challenging disruptions to their professional (and personal) agendas. A sabbatical, when available, is a critical support for faculty engagement in scholarly and creative endeavors and restoration of well-being, outcomes that support the goals of faculty members and their institutions. More so than ever, this is a critical time in academia to advocate for an integrated and holistic approach to preparing for and engaging in sabbaticals and purposeful re-engagement in the academy following the sabbatical. Through this resource-filled webinar, we will equip faculty, and the academic leaders who support them, with tools and strategies to support successful sabbatical experiences.
