AI tools can be helpful for faculty members in many ways: creating study guides for students, developing inclusive language for syllabi and course content, designing assignments, and even building rubrics.

Tip #1: If you use them, be sure to acknowledge the use of AI tools for developing content in your course(s).

Tip #2: To address the rise of AI generated content by students, faculty can hold open discussions on academic integrity.

Tip #3: Update syllabi with AI use policies, and structure assignments for active learning.
