If I Knew Then What I Know Now Panel: Tips and Tricks for New Faculty

This panel is designed for faculty in their first year or so at DU. Panel members in their second year and beyond will share practical strategies that new faculty members can implement immediately that have made the difference in their approach to research, teaching, or service, strategies that new faculty members can implement immediately. After a short panel discussion of tips and tricks for newer professors at DU, we’ll split into breakout rooms to practice each skill and or discuss challenges in more depths. Topics include public scholarship, managing workload, uncovering unspoken norms, and professing during a pandemic!
