To all new faculty: we are excited to welcome you to your new role at the University of Denver! The purpose of the new faculty canvas course is to familiarize faculty with the information and resources provided for orientation, onboarding, and the faculty life cycle. This course will open on September 15th, 2020. New faculty will be sent a link via email when they are invited to participate in the canvas course.
The modules that are included in the course are as follows: Institutional Culture and Shared Governance, Navigating DU, Institutional Response to Coronavirus (COVID-19), Career Advancement, Teaching and Student Mentoring Support, Research Support, and Community Building through Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion. Each module has intended learning outcomes and an H5P engagement component at the end of the module.
