Dr. Bobbie Kite, VPFA Faculty Academic Informatics Consultant

Bobbie is an Associate Professor, an Assistant Dean of Academic Operations and Data at University College, and the Academic Director of the Healthcare Management Program at University College. Before working at DU, she was jointly appointed in the Department of Biomedical Informatics and the Ohio State University Health Plan at The Ohio State Wexner Medical Center. Her research interests lie in Health Informatics as well as Academic Informatics.

In conjunction with the Office of Teaching and Learning and the VPFA office, she will work to design outcome metrics. Specifically, this includes building conceptual frameworks, piloting projects, analyzing preliminary data, and creating dissemination material for the VPFA portfolio: Faculty Development, Teaching and Learning, Faculty Relations, and Faculty Lifecycles. Bobbie is also a member of the COACHE Executive Committee that will be presenting the unit-level results to parallel the academic areas identified by COACHE. These analyses will help pave the next steps for specific unit level actions on areas of concern while laying the framework for future COACHE surveys.
